Billing & Credits
Simple, transparent pay-as-you-go billing — credits on signup, per-reply cost visible in real time, top up anytime, cancel anytime.
YeeroAI runs entirely on pay-as-you-go credits: 1,000 free at signup (valid 30 days), per-reply cost shown in real time, one-time credits never expire, and purchases are refundable pro-rata within 24 hours.
How Credits Work
Every AI capability on YeeroAI is settled in a single currency — credits. There is no mandatory monthly fee: you pay only for what you use.
- 1,000 credits on signup — valid for 30 days, no credit card required.
- Cost visible in real time — every AI reply shows exactly how many credits it consumed. Nothing is charged behind the scenes.
- Free models cost nothing — turn on "Free only" in the model picker to use models that consume zero credits.
- Balance always at hand — check your balance, transaction history and bills under Account → Credits.
- When you run out — AI requests fail with a top-up prompt. Your existing chats, files and knowledge entries are never deleted because of it.
Each request is priced by the model used and the length of its output. When one message is sent to several models in parallel, each model is billed separately.
Credit Validity
Validity depends on where the credits came from. Expired credits can be neither restored nor refunded:
| Source | Validity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Signup bonus | 30 days | The 1,000 welcome credits; any unused portion is deducted as an "Expired" entry. |
| One-time purchase | Never expires | Credit packs stay valid indefinitely, so you can stock up as needed. |
| Subscription monthly credits | 30 days per cycle | Issued with each billing cycle and forfeited once the subscription ends or is canceled. |
| Invitation rewards | Never expire | Credits earned by inviting friends stay valid indefinitely. |
| Promotional rewards | Per campaign terms | Validity is stated by the campaign and shown on each credit record. |
The exact expiry of every grant is listed in the "Expires" column under Account → Credits → Earned; permanent credits are labelled "Never expires".

Storage Billing
YeeroAI keeps two independent storage quotas: your file library and AI app cloud documents. They do not share capacity and are billed separately — anything above either quota is deducted from your credit balance daily.
Quotas and rates
| Storage type | Free quota | Overage rate | Spend method | Where to check usage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| File library | 1 GB | 50 credits / GB / day | File Storage Fee | The storage status bar at the top of the Files page |
| AI app cloud documents | 10 MB | 5 credits / 10 MB / day | Cloud Document Storage Fee | The storage status bar at the top of the AI Apps page |
The table above bills your account-level storage totals. Keep it distinct from one other limit: each AI app also has a "1 MB per app" cap on cloud-synced runtime data. Going over that cap only pauses cloud sync for that app until you clear its data — it never incurs a credit charge. See Cloud Sync.
How the daily charge is calculated
Only the portion above the free quota is billed. It is scaled proportionally and rounded up, with a floor of 1 credit:
Daily credits = Excess capacity ÷ Free quota × Rate
| Actual usage | Excess | Calculation | Charged per day |
|---|---|---|---|
| File library 800 MB | None | — | 0 credits |
| File library 1 GB + 1 MB | 1 MB | 1 MB ÷ 1 GB × 50 ≈ 0.05, rounded up | 1 credit |
| File library 1.5 GB | 0.5 GB | 0.5 × 50 | 25 credits |
| File library 3 GB | 2 GB | 2 × 50 | 100 credits |
| Cloud documents 8 MB | None | — | 0 credits |
| Cloud documents 15 MB | 5 MB | 5 MB ÷ 10 MB × 5 = 2.5, rounded up | 3 credits |
| Cloud documents 40 MB | 30 MB | 3 × 5 | 15 credits |
Billing rules
- Settled daily — while you are over quota, the charge is deducted from your credit balance once per day; each of the two storage types produces its own spend record, so you can audit them separately.
- Nothing charged within quota — once you delete files or documents and usage drops back inside the free quota, no further storage fees accrue.
- Always visible — the status bar shows the current daily charge directly, as "25 credits/day" for the file library and "Current +3 credits/day" for cloud documents, so you never have to do the maths.
- Days of balance left — the status bar estimates how many days your balance still covers (current balance ÷ daily charge) and turns into a red "Balance low (< 3 days)" warning when fewer than three remain.
AI app cloud documents come with just 10 MB free, entirely separate from the file library's 1 GB — the two cannot borrow from each other. Apps that run for a long time and keep producing documents go over quota easily, so keep an eye on the storage status bar at the top of the AI Apps page; its tooltip shows both the rate and your current daily charge.
What each on-screen state means
| State | What you see | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Within quota | "Storage OK", "X / 1 GB" | No storage fee at all. |
| Over quota | "Over free quota", "X over", "X credits/day" | Daily billing has started; the current daily cost is shown live. |
| Balance running low | "Balance low (< 3 days)", "Balance lasts X days" | How many days your balance still covers at the current daily cost — a prompt to top up. |
| Insufficient balance | "Storage overdue" | Your balance can no longer cover the storage fee, so the account is in arrears. |
What happens when you are in arrears
Arrears and the 7-day grace period are tracked at account level, so both storage types share the same timeline:
- Arrears begin — a "Storage overdue" banner appears at the top of the Files page, showing how many days you have been overdue.
- Grace warning — the banner tells you that unless credits are topped up within the remaining days, the system will start auto-deleting from your oldest uploads until storage drops to 1 GB.
- More than 7 days overdue — automatic cleanup begins: the file library is trimmed from your oldest uploads until it is back inside the 1 GB free quota, and cloud documents are trimmed until they are back inside the 10 MB free quota.
Files and documents removed by automatic cleanup cannot be recovered. When you see the arrears banner, either top up credits or manage your content right away — both actions are offered directly on the banner.
The quotas and rates above are a snapshot taken on 2026-09-04 and may change as our operations evolve. For what is actually charged, trust the daily figure shown live on the status bar and the itemised entries under Account → Credits → Spent.
Pricing Plans
Plans come in two shapes: subscriptions (monthly credits at a lower unit price) and one-time purchases (credits you keep forever). They work well together — a subscription covers your baseline usage, one-time packs cover the spikes.
Subscription tiers
| Tier | Per month | Credits / month | Per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $5.00 | 37,500 | ≈$0.000133 |
| Pro Plus | $10.00 | 75,000 | ≈$0.000133 |
| Ultra | $20.00 | 150,000 | ≈$0.000133 |
One-time purchases
| Payment channel | Unit price | Credits per unit | Per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paddle (international cards, billed in USD) | $1.00 | 6,000 | ≈$0.000167 |
| WeChat Pay (billed in CNY) | ¥1.30 | 1,200 | ≈¥0.00108 |
| Alipay (billed in CNY) | ¥1.30 | 1,200 | ≈¥0.00108 |
Subscription tiers work out at about $0.000133 per credit versus $0.000167 for one-time packs. Choose a subscription if your usage is steady; lean on one-time packs if it fluctuates, so credits never sit idle until they expire.
The tables above are a snapshot taken on 2026-09-04. Tiers, prices and credit amounts are served live and may change as our operations evolve — always trust the pricing section on the homepage and Account → Credits → Buy Credits.

Buying Credits
Where to buy
- Pricing section on the homepage — if you are signed out, clicking a tier first prompts you to sign up or log in.
- Account → Credits → Buy Credits — top up anytime while signed in; the arrears banner on the Files page also offers a "Top Up Credits" shortcut.
Purchase steps
- Pick a tier in the pricing carousel — browse tiers left and right; the focused one is badged "Recommended".
- For one-time packs, adjust the Quantity; the panel live-updates "X credits · total price" and the per-credit price.
- Choose a Payment Method: Paddle, or WeChat / Alipay — WeChat Pay and Alipay can be switched within the same tier.
- Complete the payment and your credits arrive.
Card payment (Paddle)
Clicking subscribe or buy opens the Paddle checkout; follow the prompts to pay. On success the checkout closes automatically and your balance and subscription status refresh. Best for international card holders, billed in USD.
QR code payment (WeChat Pay / Alipay)
Choosing WeChat Pay or Alipay opens a QR code dialog showing the credits you will receive and the amount due:
- Scan the code with the matching app to pay.
- The QR code is valid for 5 minutes, and the page polls the payment status for you — no manual refresh needed.
- On success you will see "Payment successful! Credits added."
- If you see "Payment failed or timed out", or the code has expired, simply start the purchase again.
Payment callbacks are occasionally delayed — refresh the page or reopen the Credits tab first. If the order still reads "Pending" in your Billing history, the payment has not been confirmed yet, so please do not pay twice. If it stays stuck, reach us via Account → Feedback and include the order time.
Managing Your Subscription
A subscription runs in 30-day billing cycles, and that cycle's credits are issued when it starts.
Subscription statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Running normally — it auto-renews each cycle and issues credits. |
| Trialing | In a trial period; nothing is charged before it ends. |
| Paused | Temporarily stopped; per-cycle billing resumes once reactivated. |
| Past Due | A renewal charge failed. Update your payment method promptly, or the subscription may not continue. |
| Canceled | Stops at the end of the current billing period; everything keeps working until then. |
The current subscription card
When you are subscribed, a card at the top of Account → Credits shows the plan name, status, credits per month, current billing period, next billing date and expiry date.
Upgrading
- Select a higher tier in the Buy Credits panel.
- The system checks whether your current subscription allows it: if so the button reads "Upgrade", otherwise the reason is shown directly.
- After payment you will see "Upgrade successful. Your new billing cycle starts from the payment date."
Canceling
- Go to Account → Credits and click "Cancel Subscription" on the current subscription card.
- The confirmation dialog states three things: you keep access for the rest of the current period, you will not be charged for the next one, and the exact expiry date.
- Click "Confirm Cancel" — or "Keep Subscription" to stay.
After canceling, the status becomes "Canceled", but everything keeps working until the current period ends, including the credits already issued this cycle. There is no further auto-renewal, and that cycle's credits lapse per the validity rules.
Credit & Billing Records
Everything about your credits and bills lives under Account → Credits (URL: /account?tab=credits):
| Area | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Credit Balance | Your total available credits, with a manual refresh. |
| Current Subscription | Shown when subscribed — status, next billing and expiry. |
| Buy Credits | Opens the pricing panel to top up or upgrade anytime. |
| Earned | Every credit grant, including the refund entry point. |
| Spent | Every credit deduction. |
| Billing | Payment records for all orders and subscriptions. |
Billing columns
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Type | "One-Time" (a single credit purchase) or "Subscription" (a recurring payment). |
| Channel | Paddle, WeChat Pay or Alipay. |
| Credits | Credits granted by that record. |
| Amount | What you actually paid, with its currency. |
| Status | Order status — Pending / Completed / Refunded / Failed; subscription rows show the subscription status instead. |
| Billing Period | Cycle start and end dates, for subscription records. |
| Time | When the order was placed or charged. |
All three sub-tabs support date-range filtering (up to one year back) and load more as you scroll.
Refunds
Credit purchases are refundable, but there is a strict time window and a specific calculation. Please read this before you submit.
- Within 24 hours — only requests submitted within 24 hours of the purchase are accepted; later ones cannot be refunded.
- Pro-rata, not full — the amount is calculated from the share of credits still unused.
- One refund per account — an account that has already been refunded cannot request another.
- Irrevocable once submitted — a confirmed refund cannot be withdrawn, so check the amount first.
How the refund amount is calculated
Refund = Amount actually paid × (Remaining credits ÷ Credits purchased)
Example: you paid $10 for 1,000 credits and used 300, leaving 700. The refund is $10 × (700 ÷ 1,000) = $7.00; the $3.00 behind the 300 used credits is not refunded.
- Expired credits do not count towards the remaining balance.
- If a coupon or discount was applied, the refund is based on the amount actually paid, not the list price.
- Amounts are rounded to the smallest currency unit (cents for USD).
Eligibility
All of the following must hold:
- The request is submitted within 24 hours of the purchase.
- Some of the purchased credits are still unused.
- The credits came from a direct payment — not a promotion, giveaway or invitation reward.
- The account is in good standing, not restricted or banned for breaching the Terms of Service.
- The account has never requested a refund before.
Conversely, refunds are refused when the purchase is older than 24 hours, the credits are fully used, the credits were free, the account is banned, or a refund has already been processed.
How to request one
- Go to Account → Credits → Earned.
- Find the "Purchase" record and click "Apply Refund". The button stays disabled when the record is not eligible.
- Check the details: Order Information, Purchased Credits, Used, Remaining Credits, Estimated Refund, and the "Original Payment Method" note.
- Click "Confirm Refund". On success you will see "Refund Request Submitted — your request is being processed".
The record then reads "Refund Processing" and finally "Refunded"; the reclaimed credits appear in your spend history as "Refund".
Timing and statuses
| Stage | Duration |
|---|---|
| Internal review | 1-3 business days |
| Settlement by the payment provider | 5-15 business days, varying by provider and region |
A refund is Processing (under review), Completed (approved and handed to the payment provider) or Failed. Refunds always go back to the original payment method — we cannot switch channels or convert them into account balance.
The full terms live in the Refund Policy.
