Prompt Templates

Create and manage reusable prompt templates with enable/disable toggle. Insert any prompt into conversations with one click.

What Are Prompt Templates?

Prompt Templates are pre-written prompts that you can quickly insert into any conversation. They help you:

• Save time — Reuse common prompts without retyping.
• Ensure consistency — Use standardized prompts across conversations.
• Share best practices — Create prompts for common tasks and workflows.

Creating a Prompt

1. Navigate to Settings → Prompts.
2. Click "New Prompt".
3. Fill in the form:
   • Prompt Name — A descriptive name for the prompt.
   • Prompt Content — The prompt text. Markdown is supported.
   • Folder — Choose which folder to save the prompt in.
4. Click "Create".

Managing Prompts

Enable / Disable

Toggle prompts on and off. Disabled prompts won't appear in the quick-insert menu but are not deleted.

Search and Filter

• Search — Search prompts by name.
• Status filter — Show All, Enabled, or Disabled.
• Sort — Recently Updated or Earliest Created.

Edit and Move

• Edit — Modify the prompt name, content, or folder.
• Move — Move the prompt to a different folder.
• Delete — Permanently delete the prompt.

Preview

Click "Preview" to see how the prompt content renders with Markdown formatting.

Batch Operations

Batch Move

1. Click "Select" to enter selection mode.
2. Choose the prompts you want to move.
3. Click "Batch Move" and select the target folder.

Batch Delete

You can batch delete prompts in two ways:

• Delete All Disabled — Remove all disabled prompts at once.
• Select and Delete — Select specific prompts and batch delete them.

Using Prompts in Conversations

When composing a message in a chat, you can insert enabled prompts from your library. The prompt content will be added to your message input, ready to send.

Preset Role Prompt Library

Beyond creating your own prompts, YeeroAI ships with a built-in official preset role prompt library covering 242 carefully written roles across 25 categories (bilingual), so you can get professional-grade prompts without writing from scratch.

Browse and Import

1. Go to Settings → Prompts and switch to the "Preset Library" tab.
2. Filter by category or search by keyword (matches names, descriptions, and aliases).
3. Click "Preview" to read the full role prompt.
4. Click "Use This Preset", choose a folder, and it is imported into "My Prompts" in one click.

Official Updates and Sync

Imported presets record their source and official version. When an updated official version is published, the prompt card shows an "Official update available" marker; click "Sync to Latest Official" to update its content to the latest official version.

Once imported, a preset is just a normal My Prompt: you can freely edit, move, enable/disable, and delete it, and editing never affects the official original.

AI-Assisted Authoring

When creating or editing a prompt, you can use AI Assist to generate or refine content quickly instead of starting from a blank page.

• AI Generate — Describe the role or purpose you want, and AI generates a structured prompt for you.
• Rewrite / Polish / Expand / Simplify — Rewrite, polish, expand, or simplify existing content.
• Model selection — Choose the model used for assistance, or let it be selected automatically.

AI Assist results appear in a preview first; once you are satisfied, click "Apply" to write them into the prompt content, and you can keep editing manually.

Prompt Limits
