Prompt Templates
Create and manage reusable prompt templates with enable/disable toggle. Insert any prompt into conversations with one click.
What Are Prompt Templates?
Prompt Templates are pre-written prompts that you can quickly insert into any conversation. They help you:
- Save time — Reuse common prompts without retyping.
- Ensure consistency — Use standardized prompts across conversations.
- Share best practices — Create prompts for common tasks and workflows.
Creating a Prompt
- Navigate to Settings → Prompts.
- Click "New Prompt".
- Fill in the form:
- Prompt Name — A descriptive name for the prompt.
- Prompt Content — The prompt text. Markdown is supported.
- Folder — Choose which folder to save the prompt in.
- Click "Create".
Managing Prompts
Enable / Disable
Toggle prompts on and off. Disabled prompts won't appear in the quick-insert menu but are not deleted.
Search and Filter
- Search — Search prompts by name.
- Status filter — Show All, Enabled, or Disabled.
- Sort — Recently Updated or Earliest Created.
Edit and Move
- Edit — Modify the prompt name, content, or folder.
- Move — Move the prompt to a different folder.
- Delete — Permanently delete the prompt.
Preview
Click "Preview" to see how the prompt content renders with Markdown formatting.
Batch Operations
Batch Move
- Click "Select" to enter selection mode.
- Choose the prompts you want to move.
- Click "Batch Move" and select the target folder.
Batch Delete
You can batch delete prompts in two ways:
- Delete All Disabled — Remove all disabled prompts at once.
- Select and Delete — Select specific prompts and batch delete them.
Using Prompts in Conversations
When composing a message in a chat, you can insert enabled prompts from your library. The prompt content will be added to your message input, ready to send.
